OnePageMapSite

Working with Brian Suda, I just recently open-sourced OnePageMapSite, the code behind brightonwifi.com and eatinbrighton.com. With it, you can create a self-contained site that displays a Google My Map on your own domain, e.g..

BrightonWifi.com

Features

  • Full-page interactive map
  • Configuration through a simple config file
  • Optional custom marker pins
  • Include Google Adsense
  • Google Analytics support
  • AddThis sharing with custom id support for stats

We’re using the MIT open source license, which essentially means you can do what you like with the code, but you’re on your own if it breaks :)

If you do want to contribute additional features, go for it. Or add issues to the project issues page on Github if you want to suggest features or report bugs.

If you use it, let me know, it would be great to see examples..
